Cell Phone Store Shooting

Two people were shot Wednesday morning at a cell phone store on the city's South Side, the Chicago Tribune reported.  Witnesses said a man walked out of an alley, knocked on the window of the store and opened fire.

Grocery Store Shooting
Merrillville, Ind.
Someone shot a woman in the parking lot of a Meijer store Wednesday morning in a busy suburban area of northwestern Indiana, the Northwest Indiana Times reported.

Apologetic Robber
Riverdale
A man allegedly used a large piece of concrete to hit a man in the face, stunning him while he robbed him on the Near West Side, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.  While being arrested, police say the man apologized and said that he has a baby and "didn’t mean to rob" the victim.
