Shot in a Hallway

An 18-year-old man was seriously injured in a shooting in an apartment building Friday afternoon, the Chicago Tribune reported.  He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Gang-Related Shooting
South Chicago
A 21-year-old man was killed Friday morning in what police said was a gang-related shooting, the Chicago Tribune reported.  The shooter reportedly shouted gang slogans before firing his gun, hitting the victim multiple times.

Two 11-year-old girls said that while they were walking home from school they noticed a person inside a vehicle recording video of children, the Chicago Tribune reported.  No one was approached, police said, but they're investigating.
