Teen Fatally Shot
Back of the Yards
A 17-year-old Tilden High School student was shot and killed while he walked home from school Thursday evening, the Chicago Tribune reported.  Those who knew him are calling the sophomore a "mature" young man who would warn younger kids to stay away from gangs.

Teens Shot
Wicker Park
One teen was shot in the leg and another through his pants during a Wednesday night gang-related attack, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.  A 19-year-old man was shot in the leg.  An 18-year-old man with him had a bullet go through his pant leg, but was not struck.

Woman Bites Cop
Logan Square
A 33-year-old woman bit a police officer on the wrist during an arrest attempt, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. The officer was not seriously injured and the woman was taken to a hospital to be mentally evaluated.
