A man who drove into a police officer and pinned him against an iron fence was shot by the officer's partner and critically injured, police said Friday. The officer pinned against the fence was slightly injured.
Gang Member Arrested
Lakeview
An admitted gang member accused of pistol-whipping and robbing a 58-year-old man in an alley Thursday night is in custody, the Chicago Tribune reported. His getaway car, a black Honda Civic, was reportedly stolen from Des Plaines.
Alleged Gang Member Shot
Austin
A 21-year-old man was shot and killed while walking outside his home Thursday night, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. Police said the shooting was likely gang related.
