Town Hall District police officers were so quick to nab three strong-armed robbery suspects that the men were apprehended even before the victim called 911 early Thursday, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. They were pulled over in their getaway car for speeding and a broken tail light when their description was broadcast over the police radio.
Mother Murdered

A 20-year-old woman was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting on the city's West Side Wednesday night, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. Authorities said they believe that one of the men she was with was the intended target.
Gunfire in Courthouse
Little Village
At least one person was arrested Thursday afternoon following reports of gunfire outside the Cook County Criminal Courts building, the Chicago Tribune reported. No one was hurt and a handgun was recovered.
