A Chicago man is charged with sexually assaulting a woman near the Loyola University campus Sunday.

Police say Michael Dixon, 37, made inappropriate sexual contact with a 20-year-old woman, then demanded money in the lobby of a building in the 1400 block of West Albion at about 4:30 a.m.

Dixon was later arrested while riding a bicycle on the sidewalk in the 6800 block of North Sheridan.

The suspect is charged with felony aggravated criminal sexual assault, battery and attempted robbery.

Police say the victim positively identified Dixon as her attacker.
