Missing Markham Toddler Found Safe

A toddler girl was found safe Monday after she disappeared last week following a visitation with her father.

Markham Police said Tillie Armour, 18 months, was last seen with her father, 46-year-old Cleophus Cooks, last Tuesday afternoon in the 7100 block of Ellis when he took off with her.

The mother told police Cooks hung up on her when she called to tell him of a court order for the girl's return.

Tillie was last seen wearing a pink-and-orange shirt, orange shorts, white Jordan's gym shoes and pink-and-white barrettes in her hair.

Police believe Cook is driving a gold 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo. They say he is armed and dangerous.

If you see the girl or her father, call 911 immediately.
