An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday morning for a Michigan toddler who authorities believe was taken in the middle of the night from her family.

Police officers in first responded to a Saginaw family home in the 1500 block of Walnut St. around 3:45 a.m. on reports of a missing teenager, Mikelah Williams, and 2-year-old girl, Mileah Hill.

The Saginaw family believes it could be Williams who took off with her young cousin in the night. It is unknown if the two were traveling by foot or car, but the family told authorities the two would have needed the help of someone who had access to a vehicle.

Williams, 15, is described as roughly 86 pounds, standing at approximately 4 feet 5 inches, with red and blonde hair and brown eyes. Police say the teen is a verified runaway from Grand Rapids who had been staying with the family for the last two to three weeks.

Two-year-old Mileah has black hair and brown eyes, stands at 2 feet tall and weighs approximately 30 pounds, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
