Adrian Gonzalez Tweets About Frustration After Game 4 Call

In the course of any baseball game, there are certain critical moments where the outcome of the game can hinge on one bounce or decision, and on Wednesday one of those moments occurred in the bottom of the second inning of Game 4 between the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers.

In that fateful inning, Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez was called out at the plate after a throw from Jason Heyward and a tag by Willson Contreras. Gonzalez immediately pleaded with Dodgers manager Dave Roberts to challenge the call, but even after video review the decision stood and the game remained scoreless.

Needless to say, Gonzalez didn’t take too kindly to this news, and he made his frustrations known on social media after the game:

After the Dodgers failed to score in that inning, the Cubs eventually got their bats going, scoring four runs in the fourth inning to help propel themselves to a 10-2 victory at Dodger Stadium.

Gonzalez will get his shot at revenge against the Cubs on Thursday night when the two teams square off again in Game 5 of the series.
