Chicago Police are trying to figure out what happened in a blood-soaked hotel room on Michigan Avenue.
Cops were called to the Allerton Hotel Wednesday night after a worker saw what appeared to be blood spattered all about the room.
Detectives found blood everywhere in the 22nd floor room, including on clothes left in a suitcase in the room.
The oddest part of the story: despite the blood, cops say they found nothing out of the ordinary and are pursuing the case as non-criminal, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro told WBBM780.
Records confirm the last guest to stay in the hotel was a woman. Cops are trying to track her down to find out where all the blood came from.
