CTA Bus And Truck Collide, Nine Injured

Injuries not believed to be life-threatening



    CTA bus and pickup truck collide.

    Nine people were injured Wednesday following a collision between a CTA bus and a pickup truck.

    It happened at 10:39 a.m. at Western Avenue and LeMoyne Street.

    All of the injured people were transported to local hospitals, but none of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening.

    CTA officials say one of the vehicles was in the wrong lane, but it wasn't clear which one.

    Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
