5 Cops Hurt After “Large Fight” in Little Village

13 people in custody

Five police officers responding to a loud-music complaint at a Little Village home Sunday morning were injured when a "large fight" broke out in an alley, police said.

Thirteen offenders are in custody as of 12:15 p.m. following the fight which broke out around 4:23 a.m. in the 2800 block of West 25th Street, police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said.

No one had been charged as of early Sunday afternoon.

The police officers were treated and released for their injuries on Sunday, a police source said, including one officer who was hit over the head with a bottle, suffering a cut that required three staples.
