Five people were hurt early Tuesday in a crash in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.

Police said a car collided with a taxi at about 12:30 a.m. on Division Street near Ashland Avenue. The car apparently was missing a tire and riding on a rim when it crashed, police said.

Some of those injured in the crash were seriously hurt, but none of the injuries was life-threatening. They were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
