45 Teens Charged After Massive Oswego Party

Three adults also were arrested and charged

Forty-five teens have been charged after police broke up a large underage drinking party early Saturday in west suburban Oswego.

Police were called shortly after 12:30 a.m. Saturday to the 800 block of Georgetown on a report of a loud party, the Aurora Beacon-News is reporting.

“Upon arrival, police discovered a large number of teens at the residence and numerous arrests were made,” Oswego Police Capt. Jeff Burgner said in a press release.

Burgner said all of the teens were juveniles and charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol and released to the custody of their parents.

Three adults also were arrested and charged with unlawful possession and consumption of alcohol. The adults arrested were Zachary Prinz and Ryan Eagan, of Aurora, and Kent Lequire, of Oswego, all age 18.

Oswego police are continuing to investigate the incident, but did not indicate if there would be additional charges.
