4 Officers, Civilian Injured in Crash on Chicago's West Side: CFD

Four Chicago police officers and a civilian were injured in a crash on Chicago’s West Side Friday night, fire officials confirmed.

Chicago Fire Department officials said at least two cars were involved in the crash in the East Garfield Park neighborhood at the intersection of West Madison Street and South Sacramento Boulevard about 9:30 p.m.

Two of the officers were in fair condition and two others were serious, fire officials said. All of the officers were taken to Stroger Hospital.

The civilian was taken to the hospital in fair condition.

Four other people refused to be taken to the hospital.

No other details were immediately avialalbe.
