4 Injured in Rollover Crash Involving Semi-Trucks in Hegewisch

Four people were injured in a rollover crash involving two semi-trucks early Saturday in the South Side Hegewisch neighborhood.

At about 3:48 a.m., a white sedan made an improper left turn in front of the two semi-trucks at the intersection of 130th and Torrence, causing one of the trucks to roll over onto its side, according to Chicago Police News Affairs.

The driver of the sedan, a 28-year-old woman, was injured in the crash and transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.

The two truck drivers and a passenger in one of the trucks also suffered injuries, according to police. In one truck were a man in his 40s and a 14-year-old boy who were both transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center. A 54-year-old man driving the other truck was transported to St. Margaret's Hospital.

None of the injuries were thought to be life-threatening, police said.
