4 Hurt in Separate Overnight Shootings

Separate shootings across Chicago left four people wounded, according to the Tribune.

The first shooting happened just before 8 p.m. in the East Chatham neighborhood. A white car pulled up on a man walking in the 8600 block of South Ingleside, and someone inside the vehicle opened fire. The 20-year-old victim was seriously injured. No one has been arrested.

The second shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. in the Gresham neighborhood. A 28-year-old man was sitting in a car in the 7900 block of South Wood Street. He was talking with another man, also in his 20’s, who was standing outside the car. Two gunman approached and opened fire, injuring both victims. Police said this incident was possibly gang-related.

Then, at about 3:45 a.m., someone shot an 18-year-old man in the chest and thigh in the 1700 block of North Kedvale Avenue. There’s been no word on his condition so far.

As of Sunday morning, no arrests have been made in any of these incidents.
