A man in his 20s stabbed three people at a Walgreens store on the city's Southwest Side.
The man walked into the store in the 5500 block of South Kedzie Avenue around 1 a.m. and randomly stabbed a male employee and two female customers, according to Chicago police.
Police said one of the women was stabbed in the breast, the other in the abdomen, thigh and arms. The man suffered a wound to the hand.
Crews rushed all victims to Mount Sinai Hospital.
Officers arrested the suspect after they saw several people running out of the store, police said.
As of this morning, the suspect remains in police custody and charges are pending.
Police said a motive is unclear but they are investigating.
