Three men were arrested and charged Thursday for an alleged armed hold-up outside a McDonald's in Chicago's Near North neighborhood.

Robert Ford, 23, of the 800 block of South Oak Park Avenue in Oak Park; Davion Henton, 19, of the 400 block of West Elm Street; and Ronell Shed, 23, of the 4700 block of West End Avenue were each charged with two counts of felony armed robbery.

The trio is accused of robbing two people around 3:30 a.m. Thursday outside the McDonald's near State Street and Chicago Avenue, according to Chicago Police News Affairs.

Police said one man stole a phone, money, watch and hat from the victims while another held the gun.

Officers found a group matching the robbers' descriptions near Clark and Division. Police said two were arrested immediately and a third man gave chase.

Ford, Henton and Shed are scheduled to appear in bond court Friday.
