More than $260,000 worth of marijuana was seized from a West Loop residence on Tuesday.

The Chicago Police Narcotics Unit found the growth operation yielding about 100 pot plants at the home of Ryan Vrane, 31, in the 300 block of South Jefferson Street.

The operation included a ventilation system, grow lights and generators. Police also found marijuana drying in several bedrooms.

Vrane was charged with possessing more than 5,000 grams of marijuana and producing 50-200 plants.

Police also found "suspect" anabolic steroids and about $1,100 in cash.

Vrane was scheduled to appear in court this week. Bond was set at $10,000.
