A man walked into a Lincoln Park neighborhood Walgreen's after he was shot in the chest Wednesday night.
Authorities do not yet know where the shooting happened, but the man made it into the store in the 1500 block of West Fullerton Avenue about 8 p.m. after he was injured, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
He suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Alfaro said. His condition and exact age were not yet known.
Area North detectives, but no one was in custody Wednesday evening.
