2 Women Wounded in Shooting on Chicago's South Side: Police

Two women were injured in a shooting on Chicago’s South Side Thursday afternoon, police said.

The women, 25 and 32, were wounded at the intersection of West 67th Street and South Racine Avenue in the city’s Englewood neighborhood, police said. The 25-year-old was shot in the head and the 32-year-old suffered a wound to the bridge of her nose, police said. They were both taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

Police originally said both women were shot later said only the 25-year-old was shot. It was unclear how the 32-year-old was injured.
