Firefighters early Monday morning rescued two elderly people from a house fire in west suburban Glendale Heights.
The blaze broke out after midnight in a home on the 300 block of East Fullerton Avenue, police said.
Crews carried both victims from the burning home and paramedics took them to Glen Oaks Hospital for treatment.
No word yet on what caused the fire.
