Two Chicago Police officers suffered minor injuries overnight in a crash in Humboldt Park.

Police said the officers were following a vehicle they thought was involved in a homicide when the crash happened. They spotted it around 12:25 a.m. in the 3200 block of North Lemoyne.

At some point the vehicle rammed into the squad car at North and Central Park avenues.

The vehicle turned out to be stolen, and four people were taken into custody, police said. The officers are expected to be OK.

It's unclear whether the vehicle was involved in the homicide.
