Two men whose bodies were found in the trunk of a car in the Southwest Side Brighton Park neighborhood Friday morning suffered blunt head trauma from an assault and their deaths were ruled homicides, autopsies conducted Saturday found.
Police discovered the bodies in the trunk of a car in the 2400 block of West 45th Street about 10:10 a.m. Friday, according to News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien.
The men, whose identities were not yet known but who were both believed to be in their 40s, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office, both suffered blunt head trauma from an assault, autopsies Saturday found.
Area Central detectives are conducting a death investigation.
