Two men have been charged with shooting a man during a robbery in Englewood early Christmas Day.

Kwanie Furdge, 19, and Daniel Hudson, 31, each face two felony counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and armed robbery for the shooting that happened at about 1:45 a.m. Thursday in the 5900 block of South Carpenter, police said.

The duo allegedly walked up to a 25-year-old and one of them shot him in the leg after announcing a robbery. The robbers fled with his jacket and cell phone, police said.

The man shot was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said at the time.
