2 Teens Jump from Train, Seriously Hurt

Two boys are in stable condition after jumping from a freight car at Pulaski and Fullerton.

The boys were apparently playing on the train, and when it started moving they got scared and jumped, Fire Media Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines said.

At 9:33 P.M. @CFDMedia tweeted "transported a 14/m red to Childrens who may have fallen off a freight train @ Pulaski /Fullerton."

The next tweet said that the Chicago Police Department found a second young male who also fell off the rail car.

The boys were transported to Children's Memorial Hospital in serious condition.  Gaines said their conditions stabilized.
