Power Restored After 1,700 Left Without it in Southwest Suburb

Officials say 1,700 people were left without power Sunday night in southwest suburban Summit as temperatures dropped fast ahead of the Wind Chill Advisory.

The outage was caused by wind damage to power equipment, according to ComEd.

Power was restored to all homes as of 8:30 p.m. Sunday night, according to ComEd.
