"She got mad, started yelling at me, cussing at me," the worker told the station.

A mother and daughter have been charged after attacking a fast food worker over a dispute over coupons, police said.

Latonia Howell, 41, and Jasmeika Simon, 23, have each been charged with physical abuse of a child, according NBC affiliate TMJ. Their attorney information wasn't immediately available.

The women were involved in a fight at a Burger King in the 5200 block of North Port Washington Road in the early afternoon of February 27th in the early afternoon, Glendale police said.

A 16-year-old, who said she was the target of the attack, told NBC affiliate TMJ4 it all began when a woman in her 50s walked in and wanted to use several coupons. The teen told the woman it was against store policy.

"She got mad, started yelling at me, cussing at me," the worker told the station.

Police told TMJ the woman left the store after telling the worker she would return with her daughters to beat her up. Surveillance video shows them returning 20 minutes later and throwing condiments at the teen and her manager.

"She reached over the counter and threw the sugar at me first. And then she reached over the counter again and threw the packet thing that is full of ketchup," the worker told TMJ.

Police also said the women punched the Burger King employee several times.

"I was on the other side of the door but I wasn't in the lobby and the girl pushed past my manager and started punching me several times in the face," the worker said.

She was hospitalized with a mild concussion, swollen eye and bruised head, according to TMJ.

"Fighting over coupons is stupid," the worker said.
