Damon visited TEAM Englewood High School on the South Side to meet with a group of students, WBEZ reported.

Damon was in town to headline a benefit performance called "The People Speak Live" at Metro Tuesday night.

The Englewood students Damon met with earlier in the day are studying the same Howard Zinn book, "A People’s History of the United States" that the actor produced into a HBO documentary.

The students are preparing a spring performance called Englewood Speaks.
