Two Chicago police officers were injured Sunday after their unmarked car was struck by a vehicle.
The vehicle reportedly ran a red light at Van Buren and Clark at about 2:40 p.m.
The officers were hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
The driver was detained at the scene and questioned by investigators.
