Two teens were killed and three injured following a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.
It happened shortly before 5 a.m. on Interstate 57, near 186th Street in Country Club Hills.
According to the medical examiner, the victims were the driver, a 16-year-old boy from Hazel Crest, and the front-seat passenger, a 17-year-old girl from Country Club Hills.
State Police say the SUV was stolen during a burglary in Matteson earlier in the day.
The SUV left the road "at a high rate of speed," rolled over and hit a tree, according to an officer at the scene.
The three other passengers were hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.
