A 7-year-old girl was wounded in a shooting Thursday night on the Far South Side.
It happened about 7:10 p.m. in the 13200 block of South Saint Lawrence Avenue, said police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
Two men got in an altercation nearby and one of them fired off shots, one of which grazed the girl’s thigh, Zala said.
She was taken in good condition to MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island.
Area South detectives are investigating.
