Someone in the southwest suburbs may have gotten lucky—a Chicago Ridge store sold a $1.2 million winning lottery ticket.
The winning Quick Pick ticket, purchased at 7-Eleven at 10658 S. Ridgeland Ave. in Chicago Ridge, matched all five numbers—05-09-17-27-43—for the Saturday midday Lucky Day Lotto drawing, according to the Illinois Lottery.
The winner is urged to immediately sign the back of the the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the lottery’s prize centers to redeem the prize.
The store will receive a $12,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
