Salt Lake City Bans “Playboy Club”

Upcoming NBC show set in 1960s Chicago

A fall NBC show set in 1960s Chicago is not getting a lot of love in Salt Lake City.

Affiliate KSL-TV has decided not to air "The Playboy Club" due to objectionable content, Examiner.com reported.

The station is run by the Mormon church, and the station's president says KSL's brand is "completely inconsistent with the Playboy brand."

KSL has refused NBC offerings in the past, such as "Coupling" and "God, the Devil and Bob," according to the Examiner.

The show goes inside world the Playboy Bunny, and features mobsters, politicians and the top entertainers of the decade.
