A 12-year-old boy has been charged with a string of robberies on the Near North Side of Chicago, police announced Tuesday.
The boy, police said, was involved in robberies that occurred the nights of Sept. 14, 15 and 19 on the 700-900 blocks of North Larrabee Avenue.
Police said the boy approached men and women during the robberies, displayed a weapon and demanded property from them.
No injuries were reported in the robberies and no further information was immediately available, police said.
