Duckworth for Hawaiian Senator?

Illinois resident went to high school in Hawaii

Tammy Duckworth, who unsuccessfully ran for Congress in Illinois, may take another crack at higher office -- in another state.

Duckworth is being courted in her home state of Hawaii as a candidate for the US Senate when a seat opens in 2012.

Duckworth, who was wounded in Iraq, lost to Peter Roskam in a close contest in 2006.

A Draft Tammy Duckworth website has popped up in Hawaii where Duckworth graduated from high school.

She's not yet said if she's interested. Duckworth is currently the Assistant Secretary for Public And Intergovernmental Affairs with the US Dept of Veterans Affairs.
