One person was killed and four others injured, including two police officers, after a vehicle collided with a squad car in the Austin neighborhood Friday night.
Two officers were sent to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and two others were taken to an area hospital in critical condition after the crash, police said. One other person in the car was killed.
The crash occurred near Harrison Street and Laramie Avenue.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
