Plastic Surgeon Sues Over “Frankenstein Breasts” Review

Chicago's Dr. Jay Pensler says Internet postings were attempts to damage his reputation

A Chicago plastic surgeon is turning the tables on three women who took to the Internet and complained about his work.

Dr. Jay Pensler said the three former patients called him "dangerous," "ruthless" and a liar in their comments on review sites Yelp and Citysearch.

Pensler said the trio's Internet comments about botch breast implants are false and are just an attempt to damage his reputation. He's suing each woman for $100,000.

One of the women wrote she had "an awful experience with Dr. Pensler that I would not wish on my worst enemy," according to the complaints filed Cook County Circuit Court.

Another posting warns potential patients to "avoid him at all costs, please!! RUN, RUN, RUN!!!!"

On Yelp, an "elaina b" wrote, "I do not recommend Dr. Pensler. I had surgery done by him and my breasts are ugly and uneven. I will need additional surgery to fix them. When I expressed concern to Dr. Pensler, he was nothing less than rude and arrogant... After my surgery, whenever I look in the mirror, I am horrified and I have cried several times over the way they look."

"S.W." from Chicago wrote that her surgery left her with "Frankenstein breasts."

The women posted their comments anonymously but their identities were revealed after the Pensler's lawyers subpoenaed the Internet companies for the information.
