Chicago May Not Get Table at Restaurant Convention
Loss would be third announcement for city in two weeks

Chicago is in danger of losing another convention in 2012, the Chicago Tribune is reporting, citing sources.
A mainstay in the city for more than 50 years, the National Restaurant Association could bolt the Windy City, taking the show to either Las Vegas or Orlando.
A spokesman, however, told the newspaper that he was not aware of any discussions to move the show.
In the last two weeks, a plastics industry trade show and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society have announced movement of their 2012 shows. Leaders with both organizations cited the high cost of doing business in Chicago as the impetus behind their decisions.
The National Restaurant Association will continue to hold its 2010 and 2011 shows in Chicago.
The loss of the aforementioned shows prompted the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority to rally every Chicago group related to the convention business to find a way to keep the city from losing more shows.
