Eh, what's up space doc?
Dr. Robert “Bobby” Satcher, the Northwestern Hospital orthopedic surgeon orbiting the earth on the international space station, just sent his first tweet from space.
“Launch was amazing! 7.7 million pounds of thrust, mach 25, microgravity in less than 9 minutes! Awesome,” writes the 44-year-old surgeon on his twitter account, Astro Bones -- a handle the public voted for him.

A second post, on twitter.com/ZeroG_MD, which catalogs the medical side of his intergalactic trip, gave a bit of insight into he state of mind.
“Flight day 2.Transition to zeroG went smoothly. No motion sickness symptoms. Exercised today & slept well. House call to ISS tmrw! #onorbit,” Satcher wrote.
The Northwestern surgeon blasted off toward the International Space Station on Monday on the space shuttle Atlantis.
The space doc is getting prepared for the first of two space walks in which he will attempt to repair two robotic arms on the exterior of the space station.
