Snow in the Forecast?

80-degrees is a distant memory

Those 80-degree temperatures from last week seem like a distant memory.

Tonight’s forecast calls for snow. Yep, snow.

Near-freezing temperatures mix with heavy precipitation to create a late-night snow flurry session.

No accumulation is expected, and the flakes shouldn’t affect the Thursday morning commute.

But still, it's snow!

Before the moaning begins, be aware that snow is more of the norm for April in Chicago than 80-degree temperatures.

One of the biggest snowfalls on record came April 1-2 1970 when 10.7 inches of snow dumped on the city.
