This weekend, the Obamas will likely be moving into the Hay-Adams Hotel in Washington, D.C. temporarily. But will they be hosting some unexpected, unearthly guests?

One of the best luxury hotels in the world, the Hay-Adams is also supposedly the home of the ghost of Clover Adams. Clover was the wife of the hotel's namesake Henry Adams (a descendant of Presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams), and she committed suicide in 1885.

The five-star hotel features 145 rooms—ranging anywhere from $395 to $6,000 a night—with ornamental fireplaces, carved plaster ceilings, and marble bathrooms.

But the hotel's most interesting feature is the alleged presence of Clover Adams' ghost.

"Examples of staff experiences include unexplained opening and closing of locked doors of unoccupied rooms; clock radios mysteriously turning off and on; the sounds of a woman crying softly in a room or a stairwell; or a voice of a woman asking a housekeeper, 'What do you want?'" according to the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Just how does the Secret Service prepare for that?
