Call it a summer rendezvous or a romantic ménage à trios. Whatever you call it, it’s illegal.

But a Buffalo Grove man and his two lady friends got off with only a warning after frolicking buck naked in a pool, while in plain site of a next-door neighbor.

At 5:40 a.m. Saturday, the neighbor looking out her window not only saw the sunrise, but apparently the "moon" was out as well.

Police received a call from the woman who spotted her 20-year-old neighbor cavorting with two women, ages 20 and 21 -- all three sans clothes.

Now that’s what we call a peeping Tom goldmine.

When police showed up at the swimming pool for a little tête-à-tête, the man told police he was not violating indecency laws because he was on private property. He said his own rights were being violated.

"They could have gotten arrested for disorderly conduct, but the neighbor did not want to sign complaints," Cmdr. Steve Husak said.

Naked 20-somethings in the summertime? C’est la vie.
