Don’t mess with a ticked-off mom.

If you do, she might get all protest-rallying-diva-with-a-symbolic-stroller-to-prove-it on you.

At the "March of the Strollers for a Fair State Budget" rally today, Chicago moms showed that they’re officially frustrated about the proposed budget cuts at the beginning of this fiscal year.

Specifically these moms are worried about the effect these cuts will have on their children.

And don’t think an outraged power-mom is going to simply shout irate frustrations into the air. Or even have your run-of-the-mill rally.

Not these ladies.

Arranged by the Logan Square Neighborhood Association, the march included over 200 baby strollers full of teddy bears that represent the children that will be displaced if the proposed cuts take place.

Oh yeah, and a stuffed animal pyramid representing the 150,000 kids whose child care could be cut. Gotta love symbolism.

"We need to see the Latino Caucus take aggressive leadership now because the communities they represent will be devastated with these budget cuts," Leticia Barrera of the Logan Square Neighborhood Association said. "Everyone knows that a tax increase is the only way to fix this mess; we can't cut our way out of it."

The march started at 10:00 a.m. the Diversey Day Care, which may have to lose 100 of its kids if the cut takes place. It continued to the Paseo Prairie Garden at the Logan Square Momument.

Starting a fiscal year without a full and fair state budget? Oh no they di-in’t!
