If you were on south Lake Shore Drive yesterday, you may have been wondering why that big "Bob the Builder" balloon was bobbing outside the Museum of Science and Industry.
It was parade school, where volunteers learned the ropes of handling 3,000 square feet of helium in the shape of every kid's favorite handyman.
Dozens of volunteers showed up. They'll be the ones handling the big balloons at the 76th annual McDonald's Thanksgiving Day Parade on State Street later this month.
