When there's something strange, in a haunted fire station, who you going to call?
Paranormal Detectives, of course.
After the squad at the Frankfort Fire Protection District's station witnessed a number of hair-raising supernatural sightings they called in the cable TV crew, the Southtown Star reports.
Hopefully they can shed more light on a series of ghoulish sightings than the last crew.
The Frankfort first responders have spotted the things that go bump before.
Several months ago, after reporting apparitions cruising by doors and standing over their beds while they're sleeping, and specifically an angry cowboy strolling around, the crew brought in the Will County Ghost Hunters Society, who determined the cowboy haunted the department's ambulance.
Now its the detective's turn to figure out who he is and what he wants.
The mostly-amused firefighters admitted they can't explain what's happening.
Lieutenant Todd Hamm said he saw a dark-colored, blackish figure walk in front of him as he watched TV alone a couple years ago.
"I was going to yell, but I didn't want to wake anyone up," Hamm said.
Not everyone has been so lucky (or unlucky) to "witness" the spiritual activity.
"I like ghosts. I don't want them to be mad at us. I don't want to be freaked out," firefighter Tom Warszalek said.
