That's dirty, south.

A South Side man was charged with eleven counts of robbery after posting items for sale on Craigslist and robbing the people who came to purchase the items, police said.

Police caught Dwayne Williams, 20, after several similar robberies were reported in the same geographical area.

To catch Williams, detectives answered an ad listing a television set for sale which seemed similar to those placed by their suspect.

Detectives met Williams on the 8700 block of South Parnell and, as they approached, he pulled a revolver. The detectives then identified themselves as police officers, at which point Williams fled with the detectives in pursuit.

Williams was caught and the detectives recovered a weapon.

Williams was then identified in a lineup by the victims of previous robberies.
