Chicagoland has a plethora of firework displays this holiday weekend

Nothing says the Fourth of July like a good round of fireworks, and there will be plenty of shows to catch in the Chicagoland area this weekend.

Firework shows, by city, include:

Crystal Lake -- July 5 at dusk on the lake. $4 admission to festival.

Vernon Hills -- July 4, 9:30 p.m. at Big and Little Bear Lakes.

Evanston -- July 4, 9:15 p.m., Clark Street Beach.

Wilmette -- July 3, 9:30 p.m. Gillson Park.

Oak Park -- July 4 at dusk, Oak Park and River Forest High School football stadium.

Aurora -- July 2 from 6-10 p.m. at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.

Bolingbrook -- July 4, 9:15 p.m. at Bolingbrook Golf Club

Downers Grove -- July 4, 9:30 p.m. at 75th Street and Lemont Road.

Glen Ellyn -- July 4 at dusk, Lake Ellyn Park

Joliet -- July 3, 9 p.m. in downtown Joliet and July 4, 9 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.

Lisle -- July 2-4, 9:45 p.m. at Lisle Community Park

Naperville -- July 4, 9:30 p.m. in Knoch Park (Ribfest)

Wheaton -- July 3, 9:15 p.m. at DuPage County Fairgrounds
