Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em.
More than 350 pot plants, worth an estimated $290,000, were taken from a suburban Berwyn home when Cook County and Berwyn cops raided the residence.
Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart said that the home had an elaborate indoor garden filled with sticky weed.
“From the outside, this house appears to be just another family residence on this quiet suburban street,” Dart said in a statement. “Once inside, the plants, drugs and guns show an entirely different existence.”
Cops got more than just chronic in the bust.
Ten guns, seven kilos of cocaine, 300 grams of heroin and ecstasy pills were also seized during the search.
Two suspects were taken into custody and charges are pending.
